Long Live Love, was founded by Violet Giovannini, a wife, a mother, and member of a club nobody wishes to be a part of. That club membership consists of “Parents Who Lost A Child To A Violent Murder”. Her daughter, 19 year old Leilani Beauchamp, was violently murdered Halloween weekend 2021.

Violet and her husband heard the news while sitting in the Fairfield Police Station completing a missing persons report. The overwhelming feeling of loss, helplessness and uncertainty consumed her with no sense of direction. Her daughter was physically gone forever but she was not going to let the love she had for her daughter ever be lost.

Knowing she had a husband and 2 other younger children, Leilani’s brother 16, and sister 6,  she knew she had to fight. The next days, weeks, months, and even years became a constant struggle, a battle, to find much needed resources. Resources she sought to find included counseling for her and her individual family members,  planning & support with unexpected funeral expenses, navigating the court system and more. As Leilani's remains were found, the parties were arrested and charged. All this while responding to news media, family, friends and investigators while reaching for the mental clarity and energy to help keep the family needs met. 

With her stubborn personality and God’s direction, Violet made it a goal to find as many resources as needed for her, her family and the friends of her beloved daughter. Blessed with supportive family and friends, she has continued to build a network of resources. Long Live Love is realizing that the love from our lost loved ones has no expiration and can motivate healing even through death!
